The Gentlemen Drivers and Mechanics Club (GDMC) is an association of like-minded persons who support, promote and participate in historic motorsport events. The GDMC supports the HMR (Historic Monoposto Racing) and the HARC (Historische Auto Ren Club). Historic motor racing is organized and regulated in the Netherlands by the HARC in collaboration with Circuit Park Zandvoort and TT Circuit Assen. In the Netherlands the HARC is the oldest organization that organizes official races for historic racing cars. The HMR is a foundation that represents the interests of drivers with a historic "Monoposto" (single seater) from the period 1960 / 1981. The HMR offers the HARC and its foreign counterparts a field of historic single seaters to participate in the historic racing events. The focus of the GDMC lies primarily on the historic "Monoposto's" (single seaters) from the period 1960 / 1995.

• to ensure preservation of historic and classic Monoposto's 
• safe Monoposto's and safe races
• beautiful starting grids and exciting races
• camaraderie
• and last but not least FUN! (with capital letters) at every historic racing event both nationally and internationally.
